Saturday 21 April 2012: Islay day 2

Second days diving on the Islay trip and a dive on the Shuna. Managed to miss the wreck as we weren't sure of it location to start with and the large current meant we pulled the shot off its original position. Got tot he bottom and tried to swim into the current for around 30 seconds before giving up and going for a drift dive.

The other pair managed to find a pot hole and bring it up. Good booty find.

Spent the rest of the day in my bunk as the big Atlantic swell took its toll on us with a few green people on the boat.

Spent the night in port Ellen. Saw the distilleries on the way in but it was too late to go and visit.

Walked up to the top of the local hill where we met the skipper and took some photos, before heading down to the local hotel for a couple of local beers before dinner.
