Last day at home - and possibly the last time I'll visit this house.
I lived here from the age of about 9 till 18, and it has been 'home' in all the best senses of the word ever since. But now it has been sold, and M&D will be moving sometime next year.
It's a magnificent characterful house. It used to be a doctor's surgery, and these bells in the kitchen showed the servants who wanted them... when I was wee my bedroom never had a bell - it was the servants quarters!
