Sunday 29 April 2012: Bird Strike
Glorious day today so off on an adventure up the North Canterbury hinterland - back of Waipara. As we were driving along past wine fields there was a cacophony of birds that flew up from the fields and wooshed around ....all of a sudden we knew where Alfred Hitchcock got his idea for his film...it was quite daunting watching them weave around - and we couldn't identify what type of birds they were as they were so swift and adept at flying around like dive bombers and we don't really know bird types.....scary!!! No bird poop landed in the making of this shot!!!
