Sunday 29 April 2012: M is for ... MUD!!!
It was early this Sunday morning, the time for a ride with friends. Roads are for connecting the house with trails, footpaths and bridleways.
It was raining for most of this week. Rain, rain, more rain and hail inevitably lead to bike, clothes and me becoming a mud shade of brown.
It was 10 miles of cycling through the north east Essex countryside.
It was slippery, sticky, slidy and dirty. Puddles up to the axles, strength-sapping bogs and rain in the face.
It was fantastic!
