Saturday 28 April 2012: birthday celebration
Dinner, to celebrate Hilda's 60th birthday.
We go back a LONG way to uni days in the 70s when we attended Bob and H's wedding then took different paths, they to Africa and Saudi and we to Africa and Australia.
Now, some 40 years later we live six houses apart in the same street in Western Australia! In that time we have celebrated anniversaries and birthdays,watched our children grow up and have children of their own and shared grief and tears with a tragic and early death.
Happy birthday H!
Oh and this a tiny sample of the goodies on offer. Roasted pork belly, tempura prawn and Asian salad on a beetroot painted plate.
