Sunday 29 April 2012: No Willpower

My lack of willpower, previously demonstrated at a large garden centre, extends to the Decathlon megastore at Glasgow Fort!

Intended purchase:- Salomon ladies walking shoes; grey and blue, ultra light. Didn't find them.

Did find:- golf glove (gents); golf balls, juniors for the use of (Lurid multicolour); long golf tees (pink pour moi, orange or white for the butler; golf markers (multi); nylon carrier bag in a ball (eh??); knee support (ladies, bright pink like the old knee) and two high absorbancy, microfibre beach towels which take up minimal space, one pink one blue ... ah, cute!)

Didn't buy the canoe or the tent.

The walking shoes??? Don't be silly: I came home and bought them on Amazon having duped a nice young man at the megastore into checking my Salomon size!!

I should have stayed on the island.
