Sunday 29 April 2012: Tulips Near The Nerotal

A much better day. Out for a walk in what felt like Summer temparatures - and yes, I had forgotten my sunglasses. Ended up at the Nerotal where I spent another good few minutes wondering how I can take a good picture of anything the little funicular railway that they have there.

Decided against going up (Sundays mean lots of tourists here) and adjourned to a nearby restaurant where I had tasted my first Currywurst. Currywurst is a speciality of Berlin and not of Bayern, this explains why I was ever so slightly disappointed with my Bayerisch version of it. Too sweet and not enough spice. Anyway, it was lovely to be outside in the sunshine and watching the world go by (is it just me or are young women wearing heels that are closer to stilts than shoes? And how much do I sound like my mother when I say things like that?)
