Friday 27 April 2012: Weekend at the seaside
DQ and I have just arrived I Harwich for a weekend away with no kids! Hurray! Harwich is a working port which does not sound very romantic but the Hotel we're staying in is The Pier at Harwich which is fantastic.
The room is spectacular and the restaurant looks wonderful, we are really looking forward to some fantastic food and wine and a really relaxing weekend.
We went out for a short walk just before dinner and I snapped this gull before it took off. They seemed to be scrounging chips from a couple who were eating in their car.
