Looks can be deceiving

It looks like summer. Blue skies. Beach. Swimming in the sea. But it wasn't. We had to scrape the ice off the windscreen before leaving the house. I thought I would never feel my fingers again. I was shivering so much I thought I would never manage to get my wetsuit off.

Channel crew + Chris in Troon, ably supported by Johnny and Lyall on beach patrol . Another 45 minutes under our belts and 11 open water swims before the end of April. Not too bad. Not taking the wetsuit off for a wee while yet though.
