Sunday 29 April 2012: Jam Tomorrow?
It has been a bit of a downer today. We put an offer in on a house and have since come to realise that buying it will mean that we will remain having no spare money to spend on things like holidays for the next several years. I think we have generally missed the boat when it came to making money on property - and I'm getting too old to have a 25 year mortgage so it gets expensive in the short run.
I spent much of the day copying slides of my last 30 odd years of worry-free hang gliding days. Days when I should have been considering my future instead of gadding about having fun!
I'm easily distracted by, if not fun, then just mucking about for the sake of it. As I did today.
