Sunday 29 April 2012: On The Other Side

Of this tunnel is a geocache...but where is it hiding? The clue tells us it is under a rock...the whole side of the hill is covered in rocks. We left no stone unturned until the little geocache box was found! We rock!!!

After this, our family went to find another geocache . The next one entailed following a challenging part of the Bruce Trail. This trail follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment for almost 900 kms (thank you Wikipedia!). The section we were following was very steep with lots of moss covered boulders and cliffs. As we made our way carefully down we eventually came to an old Limestone Kiln where the geocache was cleverly hidden somewhere in the wall.

Walking back up was a little tiring...ok, it was exhausting!! So now everyone is flaked out and barely an eyelid is flickering. With that...I will say good night and let's hope we are not all too stiff to get out of bed in the morning!
