Monday 30 April 2012: Dog melange
Our 4 in the car and off to the local reserve for a walk. We try to do this weekly , it's one of the few walks the ol boy can do with his sore legs and yesterday we were both working so took time to go before it got dark.
Two somewhat large dogs came up silently from behind. Best guess is american bulldogs, quite a bit larger than an English bulldog. They were not threatening but we were'nt going anywhere with this lot going on. Several minutes later we could here the owner calling and see her dogs ignoring. It was well over 5 minutes before she finally turned up. I think a lot of folk think they have more control of their dogs than they do.
