Ladybird sunbathing

I've been told that sunshine was in rather short supply last week 'down south'. Well today ladybirds seemed to be making up for lost time as there were literally dozens of them in the garden. This one obligingly stayed still long enough to allow me to fire off a few shots and while the subsequent stack has some gaps, it was a lot of fun using the macro lens again.
