Monday 30 April 2012: Greater Spotted Woodpecker....
I refilled my bird table today and almost immediately the birds returned to feast on the nuts and seeds. Today I have seen Blue and Great Tits, Robins, Gold Finches Chaffinches, Sparrows and this little beauty a Great Spotted Woodpecker, and only 10 meters away from me.
Today we finished off the stock count and we are only one pack adrift on 3.2M bricks, not bad, I'm sure we could find the odd pack if we searched hard enough.
Not a lot else happened today.
