Monday 30 April 2012: Morning sparkle

794/365: ... something weird happened this morning. Actually, something weird happened for most of the day.

Rain.

I know, I know. Utterly shocking, I could scarcely believe it myself. Still, there it was. Stuck up in the sky, a ball of golden loveliness. I think it may be called 'the sun'. But I could be wrong. Tomorrow apparently we're back to rainsville.

Cannot remember a single thing about today.

Well, I probably can but the day was so full my mind has gone on shut down after it.

Oh, Maddy turned out not to be well enough for school. She threw up, missed her school trip and that was that. She says that no matter what she's going to school tomorrow though. She's desperate to see one of her friends who's been away over Easter and a little beyond. Bless!

At least I got a picture she'd drawn for me out of her being off school! There's always an up side!!
