Monday 30 April 2012: Soggy McSogster
The Ouse is a remarkable river. It's beautiful in places, powerful in others.
And when it's in flood as it is now, there's something a little eerie about it. The swollen waters carry any number of branches and other pieces of detritus, swept away from their unsuspecting origins. It looks calm, moves slowly, with an inexorable pull towards the Humber and the North Sea.
Oh, and it can make ice cream selling into an extreme sport.
