Monday 30 April 2012: Wasp's Nest

This beginning of a nest is about the size of a quarter. It was high up on a climbing rose, very exposed and moving in the wind. Seems like a very weird place to have chosen for a nest. There was one extremely large black and yellow wasp-waisted flying thing buzzing around. Couldn't figure out if this was a work in progress or abandoned.

The garden is looking so wonderful right now. Iris and roses in abundance. There is a place to stand right between the orange rose and the lavender irises where I swear you can feel a vibrational field of some kind. I call it the color field and I love standing there--it just fills me up and makes me happy.
