Black Beauty

This is Horse and Rider- a sculpture by Elizabeth Frink made in 1975. They sit proudly under a lovely lime tree by the Law Courts in Winchester. She had a wonderful exhibition in Winchester about 1980 and I presume the City decided to keep this . It's setting in front of the unfurling spring green of the leaves is really lovely.
