Devil's Throat

Iguazo Falls from the Argentinian side! At first, we thought it was fantastic- the park has tons of trails and they are all FREE. You just pay the entrance at the front and the rest is golden. Then we had to wait forever for their tram up to the falls. And it was crowded, and the tram stopped halfway and we all had to get off. So we decided to walk the other 3 km. The tram was so slow, it really wasn't worth waiting in another line.

Though there were entirely too many people for it to be as pleasant or wonderful as it should be, the Falls once again awed. Up against the "Devil's Throat" we were amazed all over again by the quantity of water rushing below us. The Argentinian side was also beautiful- and now the three of us have another site checked off our "to do" list.

I was VERY disappointed in the Argentine duty free shop on the border. (It was like a mini-Vegas and again, very crowded) They didn't have any Argentinian wine!!! How is that even possible?! So, I ended up with no malbecs :( just 5 bottles of other delicious wines. And the best part about local flights in Brazil is the 2L limit on fluids for carry-ons. :)
