After the rain
Well I spoke too soon yesterday!
Had the most incredible thunder and lightening storm in the night - virtually continuous with the most torrential rain - which James and Bill slept through!
So woke to a very soggy morning.
However we timed our walk perfectly, getting the gap between the black skies and the sun coming out.
There is rape all around us at the moment - and it's really really yellow - so yellow it almost hurts your eyes - particularly with the sun shining on it! However did think it was rather striking combined with the black skies!
Met Brian and his dog Sunny - she was absolutely filthy with all the mud - however he's taught her to not only get into the stream but lie down too! How clever is that!
