Lake Vesijärvi

Thanks very much for your nice comments yesterday on my 730th blip. Much appreciated.

I stayed for the last few days in Lahti. Lahti is a small town about 100 kilometers north of Helsinki. Train journey takes an hour. Lahti is situated on a bay at the southern end of lake Vesijärvi. Lahti literally means bay. There is still quite wintry compared to the southern shore of Finland.
