Wednesday 2 May 2012: Excuse me...
...let me through I'm a professional photographer.
Not me you understand, the gentleman photographing the couple snogging equipped with two Nikon D3s and bedecked with a variety of pouches and slings holding a great variety of essential photography gear (and just in case he forgets a printed T-shirt to remind him that he is a professional). He did ask me (very politely) if I 'minded stepping back for a few seconds...' since 'it's a very wide shot and you are in my frame'.
I didn't have the heart to reply by asking them to step back as they had just mucked up my shot of Blackness Castle that I had been framing....didn't want to make an adverse impact on his income....
