South Fork Nookack - Cavanaugh Island Restoration

Went up to a project site today to discuss the project with local permit agencies. It was a great day in the field and good to see I'm not the only one who's interested in river sediments. I'm not sure how Angus picked up this skill but he's learned to pick cobbles and gravels up from the channel and brings them to my feet as if to get a reward. Now if only I could bill him as a field assistant....
