Thursday 3 May 2012: Polling Station
Local elections in this part of the world.
Polling stations for most people are local schools, or maybe the town hall or community centre, or a library or other public building. However at some places, particularly the more remote ones, it could be a Pub, a Chip Shop or even a hairdressers!
This one in deepest Lanarkshire caught my eye as its the mobile library for the District and today it was converted to a Polling Station. Check out the super toilet accommodation next to it.
Democracy at work.
