Thursday 3 May 2012: Local Issues
A lovely sunny local election day. I do hope it coaxes some of the apathetics out of the house and into the voting booth.
Booth...? Hang on, that's the surname of my local Green Party candidate. He missed out on a superb election slogan there... "In the booth? Think Booth!" ...or something. I think I'll suggest that to him next time around, I'm sure he'll be delighted.
Anyway, I'll be having a word with whoever does win about the litter round here. You can barely see the Lucozade bottles at the end of my street for the blasted cherry blossom.
