Tuesday 1 May 2012: Autumn Poplars

For many years Mother has had regular treatment for sore neck and shoulders - sustained from horse riding accidents when she was a girl - by an Osteopath.
Late last year he closed his business in the city and went walk-about. Meaning no treatment for Mother
Recently he set up business again in Mosgiel, near Dunedin, and today Mother had her first appointment back with him.
Whilst she was being done over I escaped into the country side to perve upon the autumnal colours all around.
Bitterly cold wind, snow on the Maungatua's and a determined sun shining on a plethora of citrus,gold and red hues is just too much for this visual-ist. Took so many images I was in a quandary as to which one to post.

Here ... I was trying to capture the sun as it filtered through Poplar leaves...
