Thursday 3 May 2012: Quiet

797/365: ... Maddy Moo, reading to herself... instead of getting ready for bed, naturally.

Yet another 'didn't blip until the day after' blip. Ah well, I was just too pooped again yesterday. And now I'm struggling to think of anything worth talking about that happened.

Hmmmm...

Well, Felix told me he's going to get me a present for when they're having their sleepover tonight (Friday). I think he's trying to reassure me! Bless him! I'm sure they're going to be fine but I am having a minor wobble thinking about it. It's the very first time that anyone's had both of our children overnight. In fact, for the first time in nearly 9 years, Nick and I will be 'just us'. It's going to be very very weird! It should feel liberating, shouldn't it? But you get used to having no family support and though you hear of others children staying at their grandparents etc, we've never had that opportunity - so it's just not... well... normal! No little faces to kiss goodnight to. Or crying in the night...

Actually, am sure it'll be good!!

But weird.

Oh, I've just remembered why I was so tired yesterday - I was late back from work which meant that everything was just a bit later. Must make a concerted effort to leave at 4pm next week. At least next week's a four day week. YAY!!! No commuting to Sheffield again until Tuesday.

WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!

PS When I rule the world I won't have to commute
PPS They're just going to have to move the entire university to my doorstep. :o)
