Saturday 28 April 2012: Poppy II
Late afternoon sun slanting through trees in our back yard creating a different look to the hard flora that clings to life in our jungle.
I love poppies... so fragile but prolific and hardy. This one from a plant that self sowed, gets mowed occasionally and regularly hammered by cutting winds but still beams at us almost daily and never seems to be without at least one flower.
