Walking amidst the new green leaves of spring - is she aware of what's around her?
Our choir rehearses on the campus of Portland State University. I had some time before rehearsal this evening, I had my camera and I found a balcony where I could be a voyeur. And I was struck by how many young people were walking and texting, oblivious to the season - trees, flowers, birds - oblivious to their fellow humans in proximity. Yes, I'm curmudgeonly, and I find it troubling.
