Commuting

After our recent house move I now have a great (although longer c.9km) ride into work. The latter part runs along the Union Canal into the city centre, but I now also ride down a 5km section of the Water of Leith walkway (actually part of National Cycle Route 75). The Water of Leith is a river that runs from the Pentland Hills out into the Firth of Forth and is a rich wildlife haven that runs right through the centre of Edinburgh. This photo shows a section of rougher water that passes under a bridge along the route, just North of Colinton village. I'll probably add more nature photos from the route over the coming weeks.
