Friday 4 May 2012: Friday, 4pm

I want to do more B&W stuff, more relaxed stuff, and to stop 'chasing' blips - if I'm to carry on, which I will, this needs to be easier, and less time consuming.

Two blippers influenced this shot - Nell, whose B&W's are beautiful, and Hollowspy, who captures lovely chilled out after-school moments. This is nowhere near their standards, but it's Anna, completely natural, giggling at the TV - and most importantly, it took five minutes!

Notice the remote to Anna's left - with a big age gap between our two, they don't really argue. They like different things, aren't interested in each others' possessions, and don't need to compete. However. The remote is a flashpoint. Anna gets in from school first and hides it, subjecting her poor brother to Disney nonsense. I'd intervene, but Matthew broke his brace (raaaah!) last night, so he's not exactly Mr Popular today...

Right, dinner at my parents' tonight, in honour of my nephew's birthday! Mum's lasagne, salad, crusty bread, olives, wine. Happy Friday, blipfolk :)
