Friday 4 May 2012: Lunch on the way to Rome
Today's Narbonne Bilpmeet did not take place due to last minute problems. However, it was a postponement rather the a cancellation. Nevertheless, Mrs TT and I decided to make the trip anyway and enjoyed a pleasant day. We visited the Halles, considered one of the best covered markets in France, the Cathedral, the Hôtel de Ville and the canal. I had a few shots of Narbonne to choose from. I decided to post a photo of lunchtime. It was a toss up between lunch on the steps of the cathedral cloister entrance or the couple who sat above the Via Domitia, an important Roman road built around 118BC linking Italy and Spain.
