Friday 4 May 2012: Sand Lodge
Sand Lodge at Leebitton in Sandwick is the estate house of the Sumburgh Estate. The pier has been repaired over the last couple of years at a cost of more than £1m and should hopefully be used again very soon.
Bitterly cold day with the apparent temperature down to - 5.1c at one point this morning - oh well so much for the Bank Holiday Weekend .
