Hair was a very 60's musical, with its themes centred around the 60's drug culture, the sexual revolution, and its anti-war (and Viet-Nam war in particular) messages. It was also very much centred around the world of astrology (not astronomy). Cast members in the US productions included Meat Loaf, and Jennifer Warnes, while the London production included Paul Nicholas, Elaine Paige, Floella Benjamin, Richard O'Brien and Tim Curry.

The songs Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine in and Good Morning Starshine are probably the best known (or remembered by me in any case) songs from the show.The words of Good Morning Starshine have to be seen to be believed!
