Friday 4 May 2012: Surprise Bouquet
This afternoon our Octave choir entertained a community-based group for the elderly. They were a lovely audience, joining in the sing-alongs and enjoying themselves.
Afterwards the ladies in the choir were presented with flowers and the men with puzzle books - in the 40-odd years that we have sung concerts this is the first time that we have been given flowers, it was such a delightful surprise.
Here are mine, having a long drink in the tallest container I could find - the old watering can.
