Friday 4 May 2012: Hot Legs

Evening all.

(With apologies to those of a nervous disposition)

last night i was moaning about the fact that i hadn't used my macro lens very much and since i got it all the insects in the world had disappeared from view.

Clearly the gods of blip and small things were in attendance at that moment, and when i woke up this morning i found a huge spider hanging from a web outside the back door.

Really, a very big spider, the type of one which made you check you weren't missing any cats or small children. so i gamely caught it with the aid of a large wine glass and an envelope, then snapped away until i gave it its freedom....

actually it fell off the window sill and chased me screaming out of the conservatory! (sooo brave it hurts!!!)
