8:30pm and in the midst of a wee rehearsal for Sunday evening.

Working through some songs with a view to having them ready, should we need them.

Today has been mostly good. Took the car and parked it in Morningside, walking the 20 minutes to work in the morning sunlight. Which was nice. Got a few things moving and my head more into the new role (as well as doing stuff for the old role). That said, I was in a rather odd workshop this morning that didn't really seem to have much point. As it was a new crowd and the new role will be impacted by the chat that comes out of it, I thought it best to chip in positively and let some things roll on. I was finding it difficult to listen though.

Got a haircut after work then out to the Blue and Yellow warehouse of flat-pack to pick up some cut, glued and painted wood, some cast metals and plenty cardboard. It even fitted in the car. Which was a joy.

It's a busy period for our wee family at the moment and I'm grateful for that. It's good to have life in some measure of fullness.
