Saturday 5 May 2012: Super Moon 2012
It's a little cloudy with us tonight but the super moon is lighting up our sky!!
Tonight's super moon will appear to be 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than normal full moons as it takes its closest pass to earth all year. At 8:35 p.m it will reach it's perigee, the closest part of it's elliptical orbit to earth.
