Sunday 6 May 2012: Too tired for all this crap

Another protest outside the Christchurch City Council today with protestors voicing their concerns yet again with the City Council, the 'rebuild' of Christchurch and the housing issues post earthquake.
Personally, I feel as dis-spirited and tired as this elderly gentleman with the whole thing. I do wonder how the elderly are coping with all this additional bureaucracy - I find the EQC/CCC/Insurance a nightmare and I am capable of 'waiting' on the phone till a representative is available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As with most things in Christchurch ...it depends on what school you went to as to how far you get and how much money you make - 'old boys network' is alive and pumping.
