Sunday 6 May 2012: Kinda Purple

This weekend. Prrrft. That's all I can say.

I've been trying to shift the cloud hanging over my head by having a creative day. It's not helped my mood any to be honest, but its better than staring at a wall I suppose. It's the first time I've tried painting with acrylics for years. I used to use them a lot, but kinda drifted away.

I went and dug out Kinda Blue by Miles Davis for a soundtrack. Good Sunday music. From there I moved on to a bit of Tom Waits (Nighthawks at the Diner).

Now I'm listening to Check Your Head by the Beastie Boys. RIP MCA. Sad times. Here's to a brighter week.
