Time for something a bit different #2

Being such a gorgeous day we thought we would take a nice leisurely walk after a few chores had been done. 3 hours and 10 miles later we realise we probably should have planned a little better.......!

It was such a peaceful relaxing walk, we were chatting and to be honest it was only when we saw that The Plough at Huddleston was a mile away that we realised just how far we had gone. The cider and black, for me, and Timothy Taylor, for MrG, went down very well.

Home now and we have taken our shoes off, sat down and winced slightly at the throbbing :) Uggs were not suitable for such a walk - especially with no socks!

To be honest I am wondering if we ought to ditch the Cornwall move and just live on a canal boat Or maybe not!!. Every person, without exception, that we saw was so friendly and cheerful. Amazing what a bit of sun will do :)

Home now and, after the football, we have LOTS of TV to catch up on. Not to mention a few bottles of wine to drink :)

Happy Bank Holiday Sunday folks

Oh and PS - I have no idea what this is but it was v pretty and tried to camouflage the orange inside wing as I approached :)
