Sunday 6 May 2012: White water at Marsh Lock

Back to the gym for Body Pump this morning. Early lunch and then off for a stroll along the Thames path in Henley. The river was very full and this weir was providing great opportunities for these paddlers to try out their skills in the torrent of water coming through the gates.

We watched them turn, twist and roll through the surging water. Amazing to watch. Looked like they were having great fun.

Looked enviously at the huge houses along the Thames as we walked. One has its own narrow gauge railway complete with miniature station and level crossing. How the other half lives!
