Beer's aff

After the square sausage roll breakfast and the ablutions in the communal shower block (3 minute shower - 40p) we took a sunny but chilly walk along the lochside to the village for our now traditional drinking session at the hotel there.

After standing at the bar for nearly five minutes without a sign of any staff and a mild panic setting in when one of the anglers propped up there told us most of the draft beer was off we eventually managed to sit down with our first round of mostly second choice drinks. Then, after the power went out on the bar and it took at least three rejected pints before we could safely drink the Belhaven Best, we decided to take the long walk back to the pub on site. Watched the FA cup final on a tiny TV there before heading back down to the caravan for a quick skoosh of some Lynx then back again for the Club's 'turn' to entertain us for the night. The place was bouncing, as was a certain member of our party, what with it being the bank holiday weekend.

A final stagger back to the 'van and, again, fell asleep with all my clothes on.

Another belter of a day mind you.
