Sunday 6 May 2012: A peacock among picnic tables
A peacock strides through people having their lunch at Nunnington Hall. I liked the pattern of people, framed through the old window, and how the peacock was centre stage.
I went to see an exhibition of Lord Lichfield's Polaroid test photos, hundreds of them. He kept his Polaroids, framed each year, as a record of the work that year, sort of a personal blipfoto. Although I don't care much for his style of photography (very commercial), the exhibition was a fascinating body of work, and a record of past fashions, trends, and people over the years. My goodness the Eighties look hugely dated now...
Back home to lawn mowing, car washing (and polishing too), and aching all over!
