Friday 6 January 2012: The wheels on the bus
With a little one on the way, we decided to take an open top bus tour to see Dubai in a way that wouldn't exhaust S1.
It was a great way to see what I can only term as a very odd city. It's a desert with so much money spent on watering that lush green grass flows through the city. I just don't get how that works, but I suppose when money is no object...
We stopped at a shopping mall to get out of the heat, and had a competition to find a top suitable to bring bump home from hospital in. I won... you may well see the result on here in a few months :)
This city is just mad.
