Sunday 6 May 2012: Jumping
A long day in the sun, rain, hailstones, sun, freezing wind, dark cloud, sun, bucketing rain and sun.
Shooting pony club show jumping with Enthusiasm>Ability (although I think his blip name is a bit too modest).
This was supposed to be a reference shot of someone's number - didn't do very well at that, but I liked the accidental composition.
Tried to use James' D5100 for a lot of the day, and was shocked by how tricky it was to capture the action. My D700 makes it so easy in comparison - I think I'm beginning to understand why it was so expensive... if you need to get the right shot every time, you need the good gear.
