Monday 7 May 2012: A Room Of One's Own

After a night on the rum
he was given a room
of his own
made of stone.


After crawling round bars
he was thrown
in a room
which had bars of its own.


Ty Crwn (The Round House), Barmouth
was built in 1834 as a lock-up where drunkards were detained
until they became sober.
