Sunday 6 May 2012: The Garden of Cosmic Speculation
Portrack House near Dumfries is owned by Charles Jencks and with his late wife, Margaret Keswick Jencks, designed the garden there. In typical Jencks style there are spirals, and twirls and sweeps and interesting sculptures.
Maggie died from breast cancer in 1995.
The Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres around the UK were founded by the couple to provide comfort and support for those with cancer in a warm and more domestic environment.
Their garden is open one day per year and raises funds for the charity.
