Monday 7 May 2012: Bank Holiday Blues
"What shall we do today?" I asked.
Paul wanted to go and look at new sheds. Hahahahaha. No way.
Matthew wanted to go to RAF Cosford. For the fourth time. No.
Anna wanted to sit in her pj's watching 'Friends'. Maybe.
We ended up at Kingsbury Water Park, in the rain, with Matt's mate Nathan and the dog added to the mix. The kids zip-wired, we got drenched, the dog had to have a damn good bathing.
I'm so p***ed off I've poured a large glass of wine on a school night. And no, the Monster Geography Project still isn't finished. Not through lack of effort on Matt's part - just the quantity of work set. I'm tempted to do the last section myself - the poor kid has worked on this ALL WEEKEND.
My parents are at their cottage in N.Cornwall, and the roads are flooded. Our camping trip next weekend is up in the air. Happy Bank Holiday folks!
