Narrowboats on the Llangollen Canal

We moored for the first night of our weekend on the Llangollen Canal at New Marton Bridge. The morning turned out bright and sunny- just as you might expect in May. What the photo doesn't show is the bitingly cold northerly wind. For most of the weekend the temperature was colder than it was last Christmas Day.
